Luke’s Bánh Mì

I had the pleasure of tasting the Crispy Duck Banh Mi for the first time last week for my first time in Melbourne. One word - Amazing . Loved the flavour and the size was phenomenal. Great work

Generous serving at a great price point. I highly suggest ordering online for pickup as the lines can be long during lunch time, though they do keep pushing out food relatively quickly.

I ordered the BBQ skewers . The portion is large but the meat was a bit dried.

Best Bahn mi in Melbourne, always a huge like and rightfully so. They do a good job of getting through the queue as fast as possible.

Best Banh mi so far. Long queue and no seatings. Take away only. But the selections are good and worth it.

Been a few times and generally impressed but recently I’ve found they jam so much meat in it that it’s over the top for me. The balance of flavors was totally off to the point that all I could taste was pork and felt sick after barely getting through half of it. I get that generous portions are their thing but this was next level.

There is an obvious reason why there is always a line down the footpath outside this place. It's the food, the atmosphere and the service. The BBQ Pork Bahn Mi is the best I have ever tasted, and I've tasted a few! Lets start with the tiger bread rolls. Home made, soft in the centre, with a slight crunch on the crust....Perfect. Then there is the bbq pork. It'sis cooked to perfection, is succulent, juicy and flavoursome and boy do they pile in in. Then there's all the other ingredients. Fresh cucumber, coriander, shredded carrot, chilli, tasty paté and ghee. This all makes for a tasty, mouth watering combination for just $10. They also have beef and chicken options! Can't recommend this place enough! UPDATE: Still tasty as ever!! Once again, a perfect Bánh Mi , loaded with delicious pork, lemongrass, carrot, cucumber in a fresh roll. YUM!!
